Lumes / Clavering Baronet / Safari (ox)

Pedigree

Rochand Bright Spark is a 2006 stud colt by the Sports Pony stallion Lumes out of Christerence Arabella (see Broodmares). Lumes (SPSS) was a Premium stallion at the 2004 Hanover pony stallion grading where he gained excellent marks, including a 9 for his jumping ability. His sire Losander, an outstanding show jumper and dressage competition stallion in his own right, is the sire of many champions in the Federal show jumping and dressage championships in Germany. His dam, Salue (by Brillant), is an Elite mare who has produced 3 licensed sons and several state premium daughters.

Like his sire Rochand Bright Spark has extravagant paces and oozes presence. In August 2007 Rochand Bright Spark attended the BEF Futurity Young Horse Evaluations at Catherston Stud where he gained a 1st Premium and was Regional Yearling Pony / Small Horse Champion. He scored 8.23 over all, with a score 8.5 for athleticism. He went on to be awarded a Special Premium Diploma for gaining overall First Place in the Yearling Pony and Small Horse section (across all venues).

Haywards Hennessy

Haywards Hennessy (2007) New Forest Pony

Fully Registered with the NFPB&CS

To be overstamped by the SPSS

Long Copse Elton / Smiler of Sheepwash / Punnet

Pedigree

Haywards Hennessy is a 2007 New Forest Pony stud colt by Long Copse Elton out of a Smiler of Sheepwash mare. Hennessy's sire, the forest bred stallion Long Copse Elton, is a stunning pony who can boast success in both the show ring and the dressage arena.

Hennessy has inherited his sire's good looks and athletic movement, making him an exciting future prospect. He attended the British Equine Federation Young Horse Futurity Evaluations at Catherston Stud on 18th August 2009. He was evaluated as a potential dressage pony and awarded a 1st Premium. He was also Regional Reserve Champion Two Year Old Sports Pony. This is a fantastic achievement, not least because he is the first New Forest Pony to have gained a 1st Premium in the history of the Futurity and one of only very few native ponies.

Haywards Hennessy passed his stallion inspection with the NFPB&CS in 2009.

Salue's sire Brillant (aka Benedict of Piran) is British bred by the sire Piran John Halifax and was exported from Britain as a 3 year old and was immediately approved as a sire with the Weser-Ems horse society. The following year he became the overwhelming winner in his stallion performance test and then went on to successfully compete at advanced level in dressage, competing against the large horses. He was honoured with the prestigious title of CHAMPION STALLION at the senior stallion shows in Weser-Ems in 1988 and Hanover in 1984. Brillant's progeny have excelled in dressage and showjumping and he himself has led the FN statistics for procreators of dressage horses since 1998.
