In 2007 Christerence Arabella was awarded a BEF / British Breeding 'Broodmare Diploma' for Rochand Bright Spark, (by Lumes), who gained overall First Place in the Yearling Pony and Small Horse section of the Baileys Horse Feeds / British Breeding Futurity Young Horse Evaluations.

El Crysto / Blue Sun / Salih
Winnies Express is a 14.1hh liver chestnut

is best described as English / Crabbet, was bred by the famous Carrick stud.
A true riding horse, he won many major shows under saddle; his crowning glory
being ridden champion at the Horse Of The Year Show.
Winnie is a very good looking, correct mare with loose expressive paces. She qualified for the Cherif Championship first time out. She has been placed in affiliated dressage and ridden sports pony classes.
Winnies Express was retired to stud at the end of 2008.

Registered with the AHS (PBAR)
To be overstamped by the SPSS
Strinesdale Matador x Becconsall Cherry Bee
Red Mantilla is a 148cm chestnut mare by Strinesdale Matador, out of a county level TB show hack. Strinesdale Matador is one of the most sought after pony sires of today. His fine paces and temperament have been recognised internationally, not only in the show pony world but also in the Sports Pony world by his inclusion in the American Sports Pony Society register and the British Sports Pony Studbook Society register. His progeny are excelling both in the show ring and in dressage.
Red
Mantilla has only been lightly shown in-hand,
but in these few outings she has either been placed first or second.
Red Mantilla was retired to stud at the end of 2008.

Coswarth Fair Damsel

Registered with the NPS and overstamped by the AHS (PBAR)
Ambershire Finishing Touch / Cusop Connoisseur / Blue Domino
Coswarth Fair Damsel ('Selly') is the last daughter of Piran Camilla and a prized addition to our herd, being aunt to the late Mandalin War Bonnet and Rochand Quest. As well as Piran bloodlines Selly also introduces some other classic British Riding Pony bloodlines to our herd, including Holly Of Spring and Oakley Bubbling Spring.
Before retiring to stud following a hunting accident Selly showed promise as a 14hh show hunter pony and excelled at dressage.
Progeny:
2005 - Coswarth Elegance by Trelawn Couturier.

Gilly's Suprise (1990) New Forest Pony Mare
Fully Registered with the NFPB&CS
Wellhouse Shepherd's Boy x Millersford Polly
Gilly Suprise is a 135cm registered
New Forest Pony mare. Her grandsire is the famous Peveril Peterborough, renowned
for his jumping ability and
as the sire of many top ponies. Gilly’s dam,
Millersford Polly, lived on the forest all her life; Gilly, therefore, is forest
bred. Her sensible temperament, surefootedness and ability to thrive ‘on
thin air’ are doubtless a reflection of this.
Gilly came to us in later life and we feel she never really fulfilled her potential undersaddle. However, after only a couple of BHS TREC competitions Gilly and Dani found themselves ranked 21st on the BHS TREC Newcomers Winter League 2005-2006 (which placed them in the top 10% in the UK).
Gilly's Suprise has now retired to stud.

Mandalin War Bonnet (1994 - 2003) British Riding Pony
Registered with the NPS
War God x Piran Amerella (Piran Little John)
In memory of Mandalin War Bonnet ('Sybil')
Without Mandalin War Bonnet there would be no Arcenciel Stud. Sybil was our
first encounter with a British Riding Pony and she captivated us from the outset.
Sybil was exquisite, spirited and beautifully bred. She was supposed to be our
first broodmare, however fate had different ideas and sadly Sybil was put to
sleep before we could fulfil that dream.

Rochand Quest II
Rochand Quest II (2002 - 2009)
To be overstamped by the SPSS
Arthur / Piran Little John / Cusop Connoisseur
In memory of Rochand Quest II ('Isadora')
Rochand Quest II was a chestnut mare by an Anglo Arab (Ellation x Western Night) out of the British Riding Pony mare 'Piran Amerella'. She was therefore half sister to Mandalin War Bonnet.
Sadly, Rochand Quest II had a nasty field accident as a two year old which left one of her hind legs badly scared. Consequently, she never had an in-hand or ridden career. However, when the opportunity arose to buy the 4 year old Isadora from her breeder we jumped at the chance. Isadora's beautiful bloodlines, conformation and presence made her an exciting broodmare prospect and we were thrilled to have her in our herd. We had planned to put her in foal to Rochand Bright Spark in 2009 for a 2010 foal. However, in Spring 2009 poor Isadora had yet another freak accident in the field, this time fatal.
